Have you started planning your Thanksgiving menu yet?

I have and I bought some things already to lessen the hit at the grocery store closer to the day. We are making our usual 20 lb. turkey with butter, sage and Bell’s poultry seasoning. We baste it with chicken stock. I also make my special Apple Cider Sage stuffing, creamed spinach, biscuits or rolls, corn, sweet potato souffle, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy and pies.

What is on your menu and have you started shopping, preparing etc for it? Please share 😉

A little. I’m waiting on the turkeys to go on sale, I use garlic, lemon, butter, and fresh sage from the backyard. Then I make Yukon Gold garlic cream cheese mashed potatoes. And homemade dressing with French bread and more fresh sage. My hubby makes his mom’s green bean casserole. And I make little green salads with pecans, feta, and a balsamic vinaigrette. That fill the two of us up. Oh, and I have lemon sorbet for dessert, he has coffee ice cream.
