Add a French twist to the meal. Buy some shallots (1 for each guest), then put them in boiling water for 30 seconds. Allow to cool, then peel.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in an oven-safe saute pan. Add shallots to pan, along w/ 2 tsp. of sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 Tbsp. of red wine vinegar. Allow to caramelize on med. heat for about 8 min., then put in a 400 deg. oven for about 15 min. Yum… they’ll be like candy.
