Any good Venison recipes? I need 1 for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at my daughters school.?


Chili
2 Tab oil
4 lbs ground deer
3 med onions, chopped fine
1 ( 48 ) oz can tomato juice
2 (8) oz cans tomato sauce
2 (6) oz cans tomato paste
3 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper
1 tbsp salt
black pepper
2 (15 )oz cans kidney beans, drained

heat oil in large heavy saucepan. Brown meat well.
Add onions, juice, sauce and paste, chili powder,paprika, red pepper and salt and pepper. Stir well to mix. Cover. Cook over low heat about 6 hours, stirring occasionnaly, Add beans for final 30 minutes. Yield about 12 servings.

Deer with porc and beans.
1 lb ground venison
1 med onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
32 oz can porc and beans (or 2 cups cooked rice, or cooked macaroni)
Brown venison, onion and pepper. Stir in porc and beans. Add 1/4 cup molasses for a sweeter taste. Add water as needed. Salt and pepper to taste.

    i am a member of http://www.allrecipes.com and they have all kinds of recipes for thanksgiving dinner im sure that you could find something to please everybody. the best thing about allrecipes is that you can adjust the serving size to what you want to make and it will convert everything for you. hope you have fun and have a happy turkey day. 🙂
