I am announcing that I am pregnant to my family on Thanksgiving (not at dinner). Any good fun, creative ideas?

We are announcing to my family when we visit on Thanksgiving night for pie.

You should cut out a small, extra slice of pie. One for yourself, one for the baby. Put them on seperate plates and sit down with them. When someone asks, tell them that it’s one for you, one for the baby.

Then, let it roll from there.

😀 Good luck!

Since Thanksgiving it the kick off of the Christmas season ask them if they want an early Christmas gift in the middle of dessert. When they say yes, announce your pregnancy. Congratulations by the way.

Well if you had more time this is what we did:
We had a "onesie" made (online) that said "My Grandpa drives a Harley" with a picture of a motorcycle on it (my dad’s a biker LOL)
THEN found out we were having twins so when we gave him the gift – we taped the ultrasound pic to the back. It was cool………he hasn’t given it back so I’m guessing he’s going to wait until one of them is big enough for it so they can wear it.
    LOL

Maybe you should ask for a second serving of dessert for the baby… Never done the creative stuff. Or you could wrap up your test (put it in a little sealable plastic bag first) and hand it to your parents as an early Christmas present.

I would have the person who is slicing the pie, tell them you want a little extra you are eating for two now and see who catches on 🙂 Good luck!!

On the thanksgiving pie/cake or any desert, draw a pregnancy test with icing with a little plus sign. Ask them if they like the look of the cake before you chop it up and serve it. They will get it by then!

I think a cute idea would be to get bibs and, before everyone starts to eat (so it is not at dinner), to had them out. when everyone gets their bib announce that you are going be to a mommy. How exciting! it will make a great dinner conversation to say the least. But what a great time to share the wonderful news. congrats

I announced my pregnancy to family over a big dinner. There was tea and coffee served with dessert and when It was offered to me I said, "No thankyou, in fact I won’t be drinking coffee for the next nine months"
