What is a creative, kid-friendly Thanksgiving dessert?

I am headed to a Thanksgiving dinner with some friends. We’ll have the usual pumpkin pie and apple pie, but I have been asked to bring another dessert. Since there will be at least 8 kids under the age of 7, I wanted to make my dessert something fun that they would enjoy. Perhaps some fun cupcakes or cookies….but I would like ideas for decorating them to make them kid-friendly, fun and creative. Thanks!
I think cupcakes or cookies are definitely the way to go…thanks!….how about any creative ideas for decorating them?

These are fun & easy & kids love them
These delightful little turkeys, with chocolate and caramel bodies, striped chocolate cookie feathers, and candy corn beaks, make wonderful little treats for kids to make as place settings for the holiday table.

Ingredients
Microwave
Bag of candy corn (beak and eyes)
Bag of caramel candy squares (body)
Bag of Dove chocolate (base/feet)
Bag of striped chocolate cookies (tail and feathers)
Thanksgiving cupcake liners
Microwavable plate
Cooking Instructions
Unwrap a piece of Dove chocolate to use as the base of the turkey. Place it on a microwavable plate.
Unwrap a piece of caramel and stick on top of the Dove chocolate bar for the turkey’s body.
Take a piece of candy corn and push it down on top of the caramel (pointed end out). This will make the turkey’s beak.
Take another piece of caramel and push it down on top of the first caramel to make the head of the turkey.
Break off the little white tips off two pieces of candy corns and push them both into the top of the caramel for the turkey’s eyes. (see photo)
Take one striped chocolate cookie and apply to the back of the body to form the turkey’s feathers.
Put the turkey in the microwave for a about eight seconds just so that the candy and cookie can fuse together. (Watch this! Not too much time or it will melt.)
Place your turkey int the freezer for a few minutes to help it "set up" quicker.
Serve your tasty treat on Thanksgiving cupcake paper.

Yes cupcakes. You can put the fresh baked cupcakes in the cupcake caddy and take them along with icings, sprinkles and more just for the kids. Try to keep them as close as you can to the natural colors of autumn; that way they will be even more special.
