How can you decorate for Thanksgiving?
I love decorating. You should see my house for halloween and christmas. But what should I do for thanksgiving? I have this stuffed beanie baby turkey I use for the centerpiece at dinner but I wanna do more and decorate the living room and stuff. Any suggestions? Best answer 10 points! =]
I would suggest going to your nearest department store, or where ever you would usually go to buy decorations, and they should have an entire section on Thanksgiving decorations. I got most of mine from Ross.
Think pilgrims, sailing ships, crops (ears of corn, pumpkins), native americans, and leaves. I decorate with a table cloth (tan/red/brown/orange with a design of leaves, flowers, turkeys, pumpkins, turnips, potatoes, apples), I put pilgrim shaped candles as a centerpiece, a dish cloth with a turkey design on it for the kitchen, a string garland with little glittery turkeys hanging from it wrapped around the floor lamp post in the living room.
I may add some Christmas lights tacked along the wall in the hallway – maybe red and orange colored lights wrapped around each each so the colors alternate.
You could also print up a couple turkey pictures from online and hang them on the wall, or write “welcome” on one of the pictures, get it laminated, and hang in on the front door.
For something quick and easy, go out to your yard or nearest park, and fill a tasteful ceramic bowl with some fallen leaves, and place the bowl on the bathroom or kitchen counter, or wherever still needs some decoration.
Have fun feeling festive!
I love this site for all my decorating…I like to mix it up a bit.

Also this company has some super cute decor. I would think that some one who likes beanie babies would love this stuff… http://www.terrysvillage.com/bpentry?tabId=default&BP=10283&Source=Google&cm_mmc=Google-_-Terrys+Village+Brand+SendTec-_-Brand-_-Terry's+Village

A fall lover!
You can use yellow, brown, red and orange streamers. Put fake fall colored leaves on tables with candles and mini pumkins down the middle of a table. Even leaves with a little bit of glitter on them look good mixed in with the leaves.
